Maureen Lee - President
Maureen Lee joined Bader Company in 2005 as the Executive Assistant to then-President, Robert
Bader and was promoted to Vice President & Chief Operating Officer in 2009. In her capacity as Vice
President she assists the President, Lawrence Friedman in implementing new systems, refining
current processes and managing existing business portfolios. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History
from Butler University
Amy Sobiski - Vice President/Chief Operations Officer
Amy joined Bader Company in 2003 with extensive experience and knowledge in the insurance industry, including a background in Special Investigation of claims. She previously managed our Policy Services area for 2 years and was Claims Manager at Bader Company for 5 years before being promoted to Vice President and Chief Operations Officer where she will work closely with CEO Ray Sakowski, President Maureen Lee and the rest of the Bader Team to increase revenue and drive employee satisfaction. Amy attended Indiana University Southeast, holds an Indiana Property and Casualty license and is a licensed adjuster in 21 states.
David Doerner, CPA - Chief Financial Officer
David Doerner joined Bader Company as Controller in 2005 and was promoted to Chief Financial
Officer in 2008. In his capacity as CFO, Doerner oversees the accounting and information systems
functions. He reports to the President and Board of Directors. He has extensive background implementing
systems to enable, manage and control growth in both large and small companies. He
earned his CPA designation after receiving his BS in Accounting from Indiana University.
Jonathon Vogel -- National Sales Manager
Jon started with Bader as an Account Executive in 2007. Since then Jon has developed relationships with some of the largest Owner/Operators in the industry as well as gained the knowledge of smaller Operators all over the country. Coming from a background in Insurance, Account Management and Commercial Property Management, Jon used his unique experience and knowledge to work his way up to National Sales Manager in January of 2011. He leads a sales force of dedicated professionals in providing the best possible product and service. Jon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs Management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and is a licensed insurance producer in thirteen states.
John Swift - Director, Business Development
John, reporting to the President, is responsible for all sales and product management activities of Bader’s Renters Insurance program. Originally hired as an Account Executive in July 2009, he was promoted to Director, Business Development in November 2009. John has nearly 20 years of insurance sales and product management experience through the affiliate organizations of Securian, JPMorgan Chase, and American International Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University.
Janet Khalil, CPA - Controller
Janet joined Bader Company in 2005. She earned her BSBA from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania and her CPA license while working in Washington D.C. She manages the Accounting Department and has over 20 years experience in Accounting and IT in various industries.
Jeff Cook - IT Manager
Jeff joined Bader Company in 2005. He has extensive experience with network administration and application development. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University.
Tiffany Smith - Director Human Resources
Tiffany joined Bader Company in 2005 and has nearly seven years of progressive human resources experience. She earned her PHR Certification after receiving her BS in Human Resources Management from Ball State University. She is a Member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Jean Carpenter - Policy Services Manager
Regina has been with Bader Company since 2001. Regina started in the mailroom at Bader Company as a mail processor and has recently been promoted to Administrative Services Manager. As the Administrative Services Manager she is responsible for ensuring that new operators are set up, policies are issued and that clients receive marketing materials.
